    Can’t win, that’s what!

The system is designed for those who want it to work.

        Is today better?

      • ladycheetah7 says:

O don’t think it will ever get better, especially when working with someone who is an emotional glutton. If you don’t like some one you just don’t and there very presence feels slimmy and sleezy because they are so darn needy.
I have zero tolerance for adults who live in denial. Worse off when nobody else likes you and you think everybody else is the problem. Go figure.
But regardless of this foolishness and my inability at this present time it seems things are better. I got a pretty substantial increase (could always use more) and other areas of my world are stabilizing and increasing.
Would to God I could move on to bigger and better thing. Okay. Chapter one completed. Lol
        🙂

Thanks for taking time to let me know how things are going.

Thanks for taking the time to ask.

This was so common in the bureaucracy I worked in for many years. And, of course, even if one was doing more than one’s job description, for some it was never enough to truly be promoted. (Though I was, I think that one of the ways the system preserves itself is to promote those who are like to presever it — make sense? You have to “fool” the status quo into thinking you are like that, lol, which is how I did it! Then you try to do what you want later…. bwa hahahahaha)

    • ladycheetah7 says:

Now that is great advice! Because by the time your in you can run things the way you want. The question is how do you overcome those who oppose your ideas so you can run it the way you know it should be?

      • The Dancing Rider says:

Well, it’s really really hard. It took me years of “just doing work”, and pretty much remaining neutral, while also “contributing” in meeting and such. It is not an easy task! However, I had a manager who would rather than we did her job, so was not closely supervised. Gave me a lot of latitude to try my own ideas out. Not all of which worked, either….. lol.

Then I am on the right track.
        🙂
